Chipman, New Brunswick: The West District RCMP are continuing to ask for the public's assistance in relation to a missing 58-year-old man from Chipman, N.B.

James Austen MacKey was reported missing to the RCMP after his vehicle was found abandoned on the Harley Road in Redbank, N.B., northeast of Chipman, on November 29, 2012. At the time, an extensive search of the area was conducted with the assistance of the RCMP helicopter, RCMP Police Dog Services and York-Sunbury Ground Search and Rescue, but nothing was found to indicate the whereabouts of Mr. MacKey.

If anyone is in the Redbank area near the Harley Road and comes across anything unusual that they think may help us, please call police."

Jack Nutter

File Number: 104200133

Moncton, New Brunswick: The RCMP New Brunswick Major Crime Unit is seeking the public's help with an ongoing missing person investigation.

In April 2009, the family of Jack Nutter of Dieppe reported him missing. He had limited contact with his family and the last time they had heard from him was in July 2007.

Police consider the disappearance of Jack Nutter suspicious as he was no longer attending routine appointments or attending a rental property he owned on Universite Avenue in Moncton. Police have been actively following leads over the years to locate Mr. Nutter. At this point of the investigation, it is hoped someone may have information to assist police in locating him.

Jack Nutter was 65 years old in 2007. He had a thin build, weighed approximately 145 pounds (66 kg) and was approximately 5'7" (173 cm) tall. He has brown eyes and gray hair. He would now (2020) be 78 years old.

Police are asking anyone that may have known Jack Nutter, either personally or through business, and may have information on his whereabouts to contact them at 506-851-7281. Should you wish to remain anonymous, please contact Crime Stoppers toll free at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimenb.ca.

Incident: Found Dead in a Salisbury, N.B., Apartment
Location:  Salisbury, New Brunswick, Canada
File Name: Sabrina Polchies's Case Still Raises Questions
Author/Contributor: Sandra M.

Sabrina Polchies

File Number: 104200174

Sabrina Polchies, 22, was last seen alive on July 1, 2010, and found dead in a Salisbury, N.B., apartment five days later. RCMP officials ruled no foul play was involved. But her mother, Mary Polchies, says she thinks Sabrina ran into the wrong crowd.

Mary Polchies said she received a phone call from her daughter the day she died, and could hear men yelling abusive comments at her.

"She called me and she said, 'Mom, your worst nightmare came true.'" Mary said Sabrina told her she had befriended some people, but they had become mad at her. She said Sabrina didn't know where she was.

"In the background you can hear men talking, 'What the fuck you fucking squaw.' The phone went dead and I never heard from her again. I called the cops. My poor baby laid there for three days."

Sabrina's body was found on July 5 in a Salisbury, N.B., apartment. New Brunswick RCMP said there was no foul play in her death, and the case was concluded. Her friends and family were left with plenty of questions about her death.

Sabrina told her friends on Facebook that she was leaving for Moncton to "start a new life." "Its a big world out there and I want to c what it has to offer," she wrote to her friends.

In a Facebook group titled "Restinpeace Sabrina Polchies<3," a member wrote, "Who was the last to see her alive? What happened? When are the questions going to be answered?"

Mary said she can't remember whether RCMP officials explained their findings to her, but she knows she never received a coroner's report.

"It's like a blur," she said. "I don't know what happened to her. I really want to know. My poor baby never got justice."
